Run flat tyres losing pressure
Discussion
Hi all.
One of my run flat tyres is losing pressure slowly. I've had it checked for punctures and there aren't any.
I've just taken the wheel off the car to check for hairline cracks to the rim and there aren't any. I then poured some water over the edge of the rim where it meets the tyre and I noticed some bubbles coming through slowly. Therefore, it appears to have a poor seal between the wheel and tyre.
Is this a common issue on run flat tyres?
Could it be that the tyre has been previously 'run whilst flat' so to speak, damaging the tyre?
Many thanks.
