What would you buy for 40K ?

After so many different suggestions on the "where would your 75k go ?" thread.... I'm intrigued as to what people would go for with around 40k.

So hypothetically if you had 40k to spend on a car / cars what would you buy ?

I'd be buying a 996 GT3 in speed yellow obviously !
And an 840i as a daily wallet rapist ....

Me, also.

I'm a huge TVR fan but for 40K I'd be wanting something that feels like it's been built and engineered to the highest standard.... Asub 15K Tuscan etc would be in contention when twinned with something else but not all 40K on a TVR.
