It is that time of year (again)..

I saw my first '12' plate today.

Ford Transit

So, I just started this thread for posters to post what cars they see on '12' plates before they get too common.

Officially '12' plates should only be allowed on the road on the 1st March 2012 shouldn't they?
The one I saw had dealer plates below.

Also at TESCO filling up!

I assume it was doing a PDI check ready for tomorrow. smile

Saw one on my drive this afternoon.

Busy day tomorrow for both me and the dealer , kill two birds with one stone by having it delivered this afternoon.

Mate asked if I was going for a drive at midnight .......er no ,hopefully I'll be asleep.
Is that the BMW 1 Series? smile

I have spotted my first 12 plate.

Ford Focus Estate.

Looked very nice as it was a top spec in a lovely dark blue.

Owner looked very happy. thumbup

Just spotted a nice 12 plate Kia Sportage in Chesterfield.

It was in a lovely orange. Am I lucky, or are most 12 plates now in decent spec with nice colours?

IIRC most 11 platers were basic Ford Fiesta (or similar)...

I want to see one now as they look quite good in pictures. Only a matter of time I guess.

Got stuck behind an old duffer in a 12 plate Nissan Note yesterday. Travelling at 30mph on a 60mph limit road. They were probably 'running it in' for a few thousand miles before they open it up to it's 42mph top speed.

The Focus I saw on March 1st was like that.

It was a good sunset, and it was immaculate. The owner also had the biggest grin on his face!

I thought that the face-lift looks very smart. IMO it is the car that Toyota should have designed in the first place. Yes it is still dull, but very smart.

Oh dear, what am I saying!! laugh
