Just spec'd up a very nice M3 via main dealer as a treat for working hard the past few years, never owned a new car. Got the paper work through; the VED is £1030 which fair enough it's st but you can't do anything about. Then noticed a £700 delivery charge. What the fk. Where is it getting delivered from ...Dubai, business class.

It's going to have to go to the dealer to be sold anyway so seems a bit st that I'm paying for it. Is this something that you can barter out of or pick it up from the docks? I know I'm paying a lot of money anyway and it's a fraction of the total cost but just seems a bit of a st way for them to make some more coin.

Do BMW do the factory collection? At least you get some fun for your money..
EasyJet to Germany one way leaves me £650 to spend in fuel to get home :-)

At Honda, our delivery chargers are £600

What makes it worst it my dealership is only a 20 mile drive from the Swindon factory.
£600 on a £12k Jazz must be a bit annoying for customers surely
