chrysler 300c tourer diesel or petrol?

My Dad wants a 300c as Mum says so!!
Tried to put them onto subaru forester or legacy even 5 series tourers but Mum wants a 300c estate as they have dogs, anyone have one or had one and what to look out for above and beyond usually service history etc, also petrol or diesel, they only probably do 6to8k a year.looking around £8 to 10k

cheers Spyder5, i have already passed that onto my parents just cannot see them get excited about owning a HEMI as much as me.
JREwing mmmmm prbably be a diesel as more around and cheaper tax. Still I will show them a petrol version.
