A road sweeper's started parking outside our house
Discussion
Ahha!
I'd also noticed a citroen that's been parking a lot in the road recently , but hadn't paid it too much mind. However today I saw the bloke return in his monstrosity (the sweeper), and shortly after hop out, into the citroen, & drive off!
So he's parking his road sweeper in the road overnight, and commuting to it every day in the citroen! My road's become a veritable goods yard, the cheek of it! Yes for the benefit of this thread I have some surreptitious evidence

fecking hell now they're doing sunday deliveries! I might actually have to do something about this. Nice new one though...
Interestingly (to me) I've noticed over the past couple of years there are a couple of others in the local area that are often parked up. In the past I'd always assumed they belonged to someone who lived in one of the nearby houses, but probably not now now I've seen how it's operating in my own road. At least one of the others is operated by the same company (I've haven't gone out my way to specifically check that, so will take a look at the other).

haha no it's just a laugh with the pictures and that. I don't mind it for a few weeks as if it's temporary and someone working nearby then fair enough. There is some major roadworks about a mile away where they're replacing a mains water pipe up a main road, so it could be that. When that finishes if it does turn out to be a permanent thing then (& unconnected) yes I will do something about it.
