Ferrari 250 Tour de France: Time For Tea?

Read Harris's drive of that Ferrari? Good, now you can watch him drive it

If you've read Harris's drive story on the Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France then you'll know he was rather enamoured by it. Beautiful looks, the Ferrari 3.0-litre V12 and a glorious racing history will do that to you.

Now we have a vid of Chris with the car and Max Girardo from RM Auctions. Don't look here for a sideways spectacular, it was a short pre-sale drive granted by a very generous owner. What you will get is that delicious V12, further detail on the car's provenance and a very excitable Harris.

The car goes under the hammer on Monday at RM's London sale with an estimate of £4.1-5.2 million. Worth it? Watch this and then decide!

Enjoy the vid.

Firstly I take my hat off to whoever let Chris drive it. However having said that of course I presume there were some strict instructions and so it seemed a bit pedestrian. I didn't expect drifting but I didn't get to hear the engine enough near the top end.

This is going to sound harsh but I preferred Chris' old 2CV video. Now look at this

Now that looks a lot more fun. 9 mins 20 in and the slow mo ... heh.

Actually I still think that is the best shot video as well, excellent work.
