On the 50min drive home from work at 4am sunday morning, in a world of my own I was cycling several pro's and con's of owning my R32 through my head (mainly to keep my mind working and myself awake at that time of morning!). Thought this could be an interesting thread, and quite good to see if those who own the same cars think similarly on their choices.

List your car(s) and 3 things you love and hate about them!

'09 MK5 R32
I Love:
1.The Noise! Makes all the right noises that a little golf really shouldn't make.
2.Grip/Traction- Amazing in the dry, equally in the wet with PS3's - Truly Fantastic.
3.Interior luxuries / comfort- Heated leather/Sat Nav etc etc..has everything the average driver ever needs!

I Hate:
1.Short ratio gearing...Cruising at 70 in 6th it feels like there should be an extra gear
2.Boomy exhaust - at 2k revs the exhaust 'booms' and vanishes again there after
3.Certain cars it attracts, constantly have boy racer and rep cars glued to my rear bumper on motorways/fast roads with the attempt to spur me on.

Hate is quite a strong word, but I'll leave it as it is and see what your thoughts are!

Very interesting responses people! keep 'em coming.

Il include my van aswell.

'13 LWB Transporter Sportline Kombi
Love:
1.The looks - Its a very menacing sight in ones rear view mirror and generally very 'sporty' for a van
2.Torque/Power- Effortless grunt from the twin turbo 2.0 lump, mated to the DSG box its fantastic.
3.Admirability - Generally, Everyone else loves it too.

Hate:
1. Too many replicas of Sportlines all over the place.
2. Interior Design flaws - scratchy plastics/foot steps, Seats don't move back far enough
3. That stupid, poxy, piece of turd Kenwood DNX525DAB headunit. Most frustrating thing I've ever used.

Mercedes CLK63 AMG

Like:

The Noise
The Ride
The Smile it puts on my face

Dislike:

The fact they're so rare & the values are starting to creep upwards so becoming aware of keeping the mileage low frown
Rare? I saw 5 C63's on an 18 mile stretch between Branton and Gainsborough yesterday....touring is my favourite!
He owns a CLK63...not a C63..

Hold thread revival! thought i'd continue this with my current car.

2014 Mercedes C63 AMG

Love
1. Noise - Cracks, Bangs and general thuggish-ness never gets old especially for a standard car
2. Looks - For a super saloon i think it its quite subtle yet enough to let others know it means business
3 - Seats - One of the most comfiest seats i've ever sat in.

Hate
1. Range - it needs a bigger tank!
2. Seats - Leather seems poor quality and inst showing good signs of wear
3. Stereotyped image - These are usuallydriven by clowns in certain parts of the country.

I've changed my car twice since updating this thread so thought i'd chip in again.

2017 Porsche Panamera 4S Diesel

Love

1 .Interior - a very special place to be, build quality and materials superb.
2. Handling - a 2 tonne car shouldn't handle anywhere near as well as this does.. its outstanding.
3. Looks - Looked more like a stretched 911 than the mk1 Panamera which was certainly more marmite than this one.

Dislike

1. Engine. Diesel and exciting do not mix. It was a characterless powerplant despite being hugely capable.
2. Size - it is absolutely gigantic in every measure
3. Crayon leather - loved denim dye

2017 Mercedes AMG E63s

Love

1 .Engine - Not as thuggish as the old 6.2 but absolutely relentless in full pelt. Hides turbo reliance very well.
2. Noise - Some forced bangs and cracks but nevertheless, imo the best noise from a modern v8 turbo engine.
3. I think to most it can look like a typical E220d with an amg pack- which is nice not to attract every racer in the valley on my commute

Dislike

1. Suspension - Stiff, Stiffer, or Stiffest? Hardly any differentiation between the 3 settings
2. Size and weight become apparent when giving it some on smaller roads
3. Driver aids a little annoying / intrusive
