Early morning team up at the service station:

Inspecting Cloggies Chim V8 riot.

How differeent! 3 litre turboed 6 vs raw 4 litre V8 power.

Steve and Sallii brought their brand new C7 over: excellent choice of colour.

European styling got our appreciation votes. Exhaust guns a crispy V8 howl: direct injection.

Heading for the sunshine. Tops were removed!

Orange RS bomb.

Some way to deliver 400 brake in gentlemans stylee.

Thank God I wasn't the only diesel. Andy and Anne came with the 1.6 Fabia.

More to come!

Alfa Spider 4: perfect tool for this weekend.

A classic dwarfed by a modern: Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV6 next to a 2009 Ford Focus RS.

Jaguar XJ8 next to the humble diesel.

It's obvious who is the gentleman here ...

Waiting for the ferry: mint TVR Tuscan Mk2.

Dutch owner talked us through his brute TreVoR.

What a looker.

Speed Six vs blue printed RV8.

Bonnet has be unscrewed to get into the engine bay. Klaas (Cloggie) told the story about the 'lifting bonnet' on the Autobahn. A proper and needed mod!

Steve and Sallii's immaculate C7 stunner.

Effective GT Sportscar with a purrrfect soundbyte. Direct injected 6.2 gives a lusty 466 brake and 630 Nm.

In NL this has a Eu 125K pricetag which is competitive in this performance segment: 0-60 in 4 secs and 292 kmh!

Ally frame makes this a lighter car than the C6. In NL a Boxter is same money!

Back on the ferry: anxious for the next legge!

A day full of sunshine ahead.

And now for the Alfa-section of the garage:

Woof woof!

Pack of quick ones: Ford Focus RS, GTV6 and former press car Q4.

Notice the white Grande Punto diesel hack!

Mega graceful 400 brake XJ8 cat, 330 brake 3 Coupe turbo with a soundbyte to GoGoGo! and Andies trusty Fab diesel.

Nothing to see here!

Let's fire up Mr Shouty and let's move on.

Bang on the money trio.

After a cracking night out with the DSR posse - Wok all you can - we fuelled up for the 2nd to 6th legge. First few hours after Gent was a bit ... interesting. In the process of making Day 2 - a few months ago - Joop and myself decided to choose for a stretch campaigning the typical :cough: Belgium variety of architecture. We were not dissapointed.

There's a lot you can say about these parts of B elgium but for one thing: fuel is che ap here. Which came in handy as both the 300 brake ST and the 400 brake XJ8 are thirsty animals.

No need for my diesel to fill up (22 kms / litre) so I could snap about. Trusty 2 litre Spider 4 and the XKR animal waiting to wrap up.

Chilly and drizzly - so hence the top up. We were going way to slow. Roads are 50 - 80 kmh but the many villages kept our pace down. We decided to speed things up and choose for a 60 mins highway to arrive in time for the lunch spot.

You can always ask. Golf 1, 2 and 3 are great little cars. The feel OK and have that 'contact with the road' feel the 4 so much lacked. I had a 4 for a lease hack: almost lost it a few times. Never happend to me with other cars!

On with the show:

Dull weather, bright colours!

If you ever find a spare 10K somewhere around.

Thanks so much and until next year! Oh well, in June and August there are plans for one day runs.
