Can you tax a car for just one month?

My car has been SORN and in storage for the last few months, I have s perspective buyer coming to look at this weekend and I need to move the car out of storage back home for him to view it. As I am planning to sell the car I don't really want to Tax it for 6 months and go through the hassle of getting it all back from the DVLA. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy just one months road tax?

I only ask as the last time I attempt to claim tax from the DVLA I didn't get anywhere with and ended up dropping it after a good 3 months chase!

yea I knew that was an option, I was just checking to see if it could be done.
Shame really you can't buy short terms of road tax for the odd occasion it could be useful to by say a weeks worth every now and again when it comes to have multiple cars.
