I do a ton of miles and this is getting silly now. I do not believe doing 95mph is the problem with so many accidents that are occuring on M ways its tailgaiting ,these drivers must be clueless on what can happen or get hypnotised with the back bumper?
Time after time the road is closed or down to one lane as half a dozen cars have shunted ,its beyond me why they do it.

Some people have little games dont they like beating the satnavtime or beat your MPG etc my thing is seeing all the brakes going on if I am on the Motorway outside lane but all im using is my accelerator pedal. What about a lorry driving normally in the middle Motorway lane with left lane full and some plonker in a small car right up the lorrys rear concentrating like crazy ,madness.

Get out of the overtaking lane then you fanny. I do a good lot of driving and I drive faster than 99% of all road users as I have to be places; the fking bane of a typical day on the road is VERY POOR land discipline and UNDER ADHERENCE to national speed limits.. Always get the bd 99 year old Dorris in her Jazz/Spark doing 19 in a fking 30, on the motorway and some thick tw@ travelling at 65 in the OVERTAKING lane. Get out if the way you fking morons.

ETA - I NEVER get tail gated, does that tell you something??

I reckon you're the only poster in the thread worthy of a licence, most of the rest of you are genuinely frightening.
As the OP I regret using the word tailgaiting ,it conjures up images of lunatics 2 feet from your back bumper ,I actually meant driving too close to each other.........which is causing a lot of these multiple shunting accidents of 3/4/5/6 cars. The continuing rows of on/off braking as we are all doing 70 in heavy moving traffic people need to back off a car length I reckon.Maybe im being presumptious but having done some advanced typetraining maybe im looking further ahead than a lot of people? I dont know maybe, maybe not.

Here's a spot of recent tailgating karma.

The driver of the Polo was interviewed on the radio and said it's happened to him before. These idiots seem to attract each other, like flies to dung.

Is this the right moment to point out the spelling inaccuracy in this thread's title or am I jumping the gun?
As you did the right thing and did not put a comma before or because there was only one independant clause you crack on son and tell us all about it.
