I cannot quite believe I'm typing this but I've just had a surprise of a lifetime...

Met in the living room of my shared house by the guys from Best of the Best. Outside was a new Range Rover Sport. I can't stop shaking!

The ticket that won cost me £3.50!!!

Pics to follow...

Lucky sod!

Congratulations biggrin
Did you go for the £10,000 too?
Thanks guys - i didn't tick the box unfortunately. Can't say i'm complaining..

Thoughts are to keep the car given how rare and special this is. Memories are important things and every time I drive the car I will remember the feeling of realising i'd won.

How was the ticket £3.50? I seem to remember them being £40-50+ for a ticket last time I saw one?
The business model has changed a fair bit.

The Range was also on discount when I bought the ticket - half price.

Congrats, I'd take the cash or sell the car if I was in a shared house personally, but hope you enjoy it.
Shared house short term whilst selling property in London but yes selling is a debate everyone has to with themselves when something like this happens. I think it would be poor form though.

Just an iPhone pic I took. I'm sure the more professional photos done by the guys will be up very shortly. I'm meant to be working from home today but I've got to say I'm struggling somewhat to concentrate!

Congratulations. Seems someone on here wins a car via BOTB every couple of months. Think the last one was a Maserati.
It does indeed! Just goes to show that there is a very genuine chance every time you enter. Still speechless. Felt like a kid on Christmas morning. Incredible feeling.

Wowza, that's lovely.

Is that the exact one you keep or do you get to spec your own?
You get to order your own. The Sport HSE actually comes very highly specced anyway but I will add a couple of options I think.

Colour wise I adored the blue the demo came in so I think I may stick with that.

I'd be spending a lot of time on the configurator, and working out how I'm going to afford the options I'd want.
Hahah! This is exactly the struggle!

Did you actually get the co-ords spot on or just the closest? I always wonder if the winners are actually spot on.
My entry was 1037,681, the judge picked 1036,681!

When I find myself in that situation I will let you know smile
Take a look at what you get with a 'boggo spec' Range Rover Sport. You may surprise yourself.

Gorgeous - congrats!!

Please pick this spec, blue with the white/ivory leather. It's just lovely. The grey is nice too.

There is one of these in this exact spec around the corner from mine (blue/ivory). I got caught peering into it by the owner as she came to get in it - embarrassing smile
Thank you! That is the exact spec I think I'm going to go for smile

Congrats on the win! Just clocked this on my FB as we have mutual friends.

You've inspired me to waste £17 of my hard earned trying to win an M2.
Thanks! Best of luck.

Well done!

How many games did you play out of interest? Regular player?
I think I've played about 4 times in total within the last year but will definitely keep playing, not because I'm greedy but because every time I enter and lose I'm helping someone else have the experience that I had on Tuesday.

Here's the spec I went for if anyone is interested...

Couldn't put anymore than that at the moment due to impending flat purchase and issues that have arisen with a property i am selling. I will add the 5 years servicing for £699 a month or so into ownership (you have about 90 days to do so).

Stratstone Mayfair have been great thus far and have treated me very well even though BOTB are the ones paying for the car!

Well you have made me enter also. M3 here we come smile
Nah, that's minesmile For some reason I used my free £5 go on the Atom, then realised I don't have a garage for it if I won!!
That's basically what I did with my other two tickets. Was quite relieved when I realised it was the range other wise I would have had to sell the atom.

Good luck to the guys that have entered.

If you don't mind me asking how much would you normally spend? For my first time this week I bought 10 tickets, what do we all think would be about average?
I do realise that the individual prices are somewhat different!
Between 10 and 15 quid.

Well, this just inspired me to buy 5 tickets for the F-Type.

Thanks OP, and congrats laugh
I drove and ftype v8 s yesterday. It was brilliantly fast and loud but not a car I felt I could do big miles in. The sport seats killed my back for some reason - I'm only 6' 1. As a weekend car it's brilliant though.

One moment required opposite lock, with tc on and in a straight line in the dry and half throttle. It is not.a car you can drive relatively quickly without really thinking about it otherwise it will bite you. That was my impression - perfect for a fun car though..

Sadly I think my poor old bank account might be getting a bit of a bashing until the novelty wears offhehe
Also how do you find out how close you were to winning, do they e mail you to let you know how far off you were?
Well Youl either have a knock on the door tomorrow or Youl find out by logging into your account where it shows you. I hope it's the former!
