A-road, passing building site, 50mph, bang and loud metallic scraping until I pull over.

I'd been rebar spiked!

Rather amused, thought to share.

Fortunately, no passengers.

Will stop by petrol station for bubble gum, pack of Wrigley's should patch the hole.

How on earth did you not see that in the road? Night time?
Raining, busy A-road, tried to avoid it, but rather a long pole.

You seem remarkably sanguine about it!
Well, Landcruiser wasn't damaged and no passenger bled out on back seat, little point getting upset over nothing.

And another reason this "powerfully built company director" drives a 19 year old Landcruiser with 150,000 miles ... car park dents don't matter, can park and abandon it anywhere and these small underbody/carpet holes become simply amusing.

K'in Hell, that's horrific! I mean, WHO chose that interior trim patern.......... ;-)
If I get to time travel back to 1997, then - with the benefit of hindsight - I'm asking Laura out for a drink and see how my life would have changed had she said "yes" - NOT asking a Toyota dealer the name of who chose that awful interior trim.

It is horrendous though. 1990s Japanese interior style
Nah. Aunt's brother's son's dog walker's mate, Dave, works for Mini and he asked me to send him this photo as inspiration for the Cooper 2018 options.
