Win On Wednesday: Dragster Passenger Ride Santa Pod

Having just announced our Santa Pod Sunday Service, we thought it best to carry on the drag racing theme here at PH with our latest Win On Wednesday competition. Have you ever been in a 1000hp car? No? Me neither, but I’d damn well like to see what it’s like. And on this drab and dreary Wednesday we thought we’d give the gift of internal organ rearrangement by offering a passenger ride in Santa Pod’s 2 seater dragster on Saturday September 23 at its National Finals!
To put it into perspective how quick Santa Pods ‘little’ dragster is, a cliched comparison to the famed Bugatti Veyron is in order. The Super Sport version of a Veryon does the quarter-mile in 9.6 seconds, while the two-seat dragster manages it in 7.9 seconds. Remember when a quick car hit 60mph in that time?! The prize also includes 2 tickets to the National Finals for the day, so be sure to take someone along with you who is skilled in encouragement.

As ever, it’s mighty easy to enter: all you have to do is enter in the forum here saying “If I Win On Wednesday, I’m going to bring (insert name here) with me to Santa Pod to watch me do 0-60 in under two seconds!”.
Remember only one entry per member is allowed. Entries are open until midnight next Tuesday, with the winner being selected at random and announced next Wednesday. Set a reminder to check back next week to see if you’ve won!
Terms and conditions:
You will need to be free Saturday 23rd September.
All passengers will be required to sign a disclaimer form prior to their passenger ride.
This experience may not be suitable for those who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy or any mental or physical disability.
Passengers must be a minimum of 16 years old but additionally must be a minimum of 5ft to ensure the safety systems and restraint systems are fully effective.
Passengers must be able to get in and out of the dragster unaided.
