It is said that before you purchase any performance enhancing parts to your car, you should first improve your driving and have a little more in-depth tuition than you would in your average driving lesson… Because at the end of the day, what’s the point in having a fast car if you have no idea of how to make the most of its performance?

Some of you may have seen this week’s Win On Wednesday prize giver in the forums. Heck, you may have even had some of his top class tuition yourself! The fantastic prize this week is from Reg Local; we are offering one full day tuition as 1st prize, two half day tuitions as 2nd prize and two runners up receiving both of his fantastic books. Reg Local is an ex-policeman who was a traffic officer and then an advanced police driving instructor, so you could say he knows his stuff. All you’ll need to bring along is you and your car, and the instruction will be based in the North West of England.

A word from our sponsor…

“I'm Reg Local and I'm a huge motoring enthusiast. I love anything to do with cars, driving and motorsport. I was a police officer for many years, during which time I worked as a traffic officer and eventually as an advanced police driving instructor. I've now decided to pass on the knowledge and experience I gained in my police career.

I've published two books, both of which have quickly become number 1 bestsellers on the Amazon Kindle charts. My first book "Advanced & Performance Driving" examines the skills required to become a better, smoother and safer road driver. It's aimed at enthusiastic drivers who want to get the most from their car on the road whilst keeping risks to a minimum. My second book, "How Not to Crash" examines all the major causes of road accidents in the UK and gives straightforward advice on how to avoid making those mistakes, and how to avoid other drivers' accidents.

I have also recently started a YouTube channel, in which I give demonstrations of the skills and techniques involved in becoming a better skilled and higher performance road driver. I offer a coaching service to anyone who wants to improve their driving - from recently qualified drivers, through those who are studying to pass an advanced driving course, those who are already advanced drivers and looking for something more, and those who drive high performance cars and are looking to get the best from themselves and their car. I'm also available to give presentations on a wide range of motoring-related subjects to IAM groups, RoSPA groups, motor clubs and other similar organisations.

Have a look around my site ( http://www.reglocal.com/ ) and feel free to get in touch!”

All you have to do to be in contention of winning this brilliant prize, is enter in the forum below saying “If I Win On Wednesday, I’m going to take my (insert car here) to my driving tuition with Reg Local!”.

Remember only one entry per member is allowed. Entries are open until midnight next Tuesday, with the winner being selected at random and announced next Wednesday. Set a reminder to check back next week to see if you’ve won!

Terms and conditions:

There is one 1st place prize of a full day’s driving tuition, two 2nd place prizes of two half day tuition and two runners up prizes, both of whom will receive both of Reg Local’s fantastic books. If you are a lucky winner of the driving tuition, you will need to be able to make it to the North West of England on a weekend (weekdays unavailable) where the tuition will take place in your own car.
