370Z Nismo undeteced upgrades
Discussion
Hello PH's,
I have recently purchased a Nissan 370Z Nismo, 2016 as a weekend driver. It's a wonderful and great car to drive. The only downside is It’s a pain in the arse to keep clean bloody hate British weather. Anyway less about that, the real reason I’m drafting this post is that I want a little bit more mid range torque from my 370Z. One of my sticking points with the upgrade is that I need the upgrade to go unnoticed via the main dealer diagnostics.
As you can imagine I have spoken to a couple of friends and they have said to purchase a tuning box. But one of my close friends said I could install an induction kit or performance exhaust which should give anything from 10+bhp, He then stated that I would have to remove the induction kit if any warranty work was carried out on the car. The only issue my friend mentioned is that Nissan may use a system which can detect you have installed an induction kit and or new exhaust (This could be due to Nissan GT-R’s and etc…. there diagnostics systems may be more advanced than other manufacturers).
So my question is, is there any undetected upgrades I can apply to my Nissan 370Z Nismo, 2016???
Many Thanks
Stuart.
