Am thinking of getting one of these as my next car not stupidly fast but fast enough compared to what ive owned. I want to know if they suffer any issues etc or are they reliable. Ive seen some decent looking ones for 5_7k. I prefer the look of them and need a hatchback for its practucal side as opposed to saloon. Thoughts,?

Also as I wouldnt know what people have done with them in past if any of the old or new subarus were run on low octane fuels would this damage the engine etc long term or would I prpbably be alright as you cant tell what its been running on.

Im still leaning towards the newer hatches its just more appealing to me. Im not sure if the wrx is affected some people say it is some say its not? How much should i keep asside for engine failurw if i do buy one. If its had full service history and not modified im hoping it will be ok. Seems to be modded ones that blow or when people bounce it off the rev limiter. Theyre alreadt made to run on edge. I will maybe get one with full history and keep my fingers crossed I wont blow it up.

Just seems like a major concern as it eould probably cost half the cars worth to fix

People on scoob forums reckon the wrx can go but head gaskets more common. Tbh im sure its probably driving it into the ground or modding it more. Ill see how I feel in a couplle of months when i get the money aside for one. Im sure it will be ok. Maybe just put a couple of hundred a side a month for issues.

Couple reckon ringlands go on wrx. Although if it was that common they wouldnt still be selling like mad. Any sings or things to look out for when going to look at and test drive one.
