NO NUMBER PLATE AT FRONT AVOIDS A LOT OF PROBLEMS
Discussion
I could not believe my eyes but a black Audi that looked like a cruiser type car with very low suspension had no front number plate.
When that car overtook me to go onto the A46 off the Melton Road I of course saw the rear number which I thought was
K R11CKY.
Even the rear plate was illegal but I thought the no number at the front of that car was taking the p---- out of the law in general. It may have just fallen off the minute before but I doubt that was the case. More than likely the driver thought it was a good idea in respect of a front taken photo by a NPRC that therefore avoids detection of road tax + insurance and MOT as well as a no go for the speed cam fraternity until he gets caught which will bring a multitude of offences down upon him.
What a chancer. What a cheek!

You must have missed the many threads on here from petrolheads saying it's ok and many have been driving around for years with it stuck on the dashboard, so be careful what you say When that car overtook me to go onto the A46 off the Melton Road I of course saw the rear number which I thought was

I was followed by a horrid colour Lupo yesterday, you know the kind tiny wheels and touching the floor so low that it ground out over the speed bumps. Anyway the plate in the correct position said 1 UPO but the correct number plate matching the back plate was wedged between the roof and dash! That is just blatant.

The sign of a chav
Just one of many of course relating to cars but yes, that's absolutely the case here in the Essex Badlands. Either the missing Platee is sheepishly following the latest attention seeking fad among mouth breathing pond life or the terminally hard of thinking or they are really, really, really keen to avoid identification on CCTV in shopping centre car parks or petrol stations.
Neither of which act paints a pretty picture of anybody driving around without a front numberplate.
I've had a few cars where the front plate has been removed and relocated to the passenger sun visor folded down so it is clearly visible, never been pulled for it ever and never failed and MOT for it either - don't see the issue personally
The only time it's ever been a problem was entering a car park that umm'd and ahh'd to open the barrier without a reg plate recognition (even though it always gets the plate on my daily incorrect)

Making it harder for them to collect their ever increasing charges, fines and restrictions on motoring has got to be a good thing.
Took a bit longer than I thought it would but we got there in the end Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
