Just to let you know the myth of French police taking your car for speeding is no myth. I had mine seized at the roadside 4 weeks ago and court was today but the judge makes up his mind tomorrow.
THEY WILL TAKE YOUR CAR and they can then sell it at auction and keep the money.

French prosecutor is seeking it be seized..careful!
