Nissan qashqai handbrake issues

Hi, 

I was just looking for some advice about my Nissan qashqai. 
I bought the car new in 2016 and have had numerous problems over the 2 years ranging from faulty battery to failed welds and driver seat which moves slightly sideways when cornering and over speed bumps. Its been in 4 times for the seat to get fixed but it seems to get worse evertime the get there hands on it. The main issue I have is a query about is a faulty auto handbrake. It's been in twice to get fixed and apparently it needs a new part which I have been told will take 9 weeks for delivery as they are on back order. It will not work sometimes several times a day. So, I was wondering if it is safe/legal to drive a car with a handbrake that doesn't work properly?
Where I park for work is a slight hill and no kerbs to turn wheel into for safety, and nowhere near is there a flat area to park. 
I'm on a pcp 3 year deal through rci finance and annoyed that im paying for a car that's not 100%. I've been on to Nissan numerous times but they keep saying just take it to garage and they will fix the issues but it they never do.
I'm very frustrated with the car. 
Any advice would be great please.

Hi,

I've spoken to head office a few times over the issues I've had over last 18 months but they kept saying to take it back in to get fixed and the warranty will cover the costs. It was in on Monday 15th October to get fixed but they said it would be 9 weeks for the part for the handbrake as they are on back order. I've emailed Nissan this morning about it and am waiting for the case manager's reply. I was just wondering if it's legal to drive with a faulty handbrake for insurance purposes etc.

Does anyone know if it's illegal to drove with a faulty handbrake that doesn't work sometimes for insurance purposes etc?

Went in for a service a couple of weeks ago and I specifically mentioned the ongoing faults. The service tech then sent me a video highlighting the issues even though I'd told them already. They then tried to charge me to fix but as it's been going on so long the latest is they will deal with the issues and have 'ordered the parts in' which is probably total BS. I agree, I'm using my daughter's 13 year old Renault Clio that cost a grand and it's great not having any rattles or seats moving and a handbrake that works!

No joke, apparently there is no stock anywhere in Europe. I was told it will take 9 weeks for delivery as they are on back order.
