Why so much dislike for tan/Brown leather interiors?

Curious really, I saw it mentioned on the AM Zagatto thread that (paraphrasing) "...the interior was a rank colour..." and some friends of mine are the same. Brown/tan interior??? fk no! 'Orrible!

Personally I love brown/tan and would have this over black in an instant not to mention oyster/parchment to name but 2 others.

Why the lack of love?

TBH I'd have been quite chuffed to have the optional orange interior in my camaro (Mrs I.... Not so much)
