I had this plate already made from a previous car, so I stuck it on. I’ve never been pulled or anything but the RR is due an mot soon and I’ll probably ask the test station first but as I’m here I’ll canvas opinion.
Will it pass? (Front has a space between 10 and M as I had it remade as cracked removing from Infinity)

I use my local Kwik Fit for MOT`s as its so convenient, I`ll bob down to Halfords (with V5 and license) and get a new one done.

When I bought my FX50 they (infinity hull) put the plates on spaced as pictured, as it was under 3 years the mot wasn’t an issue and until the RR arrived it hadn’t been on a car, I’ll get it sorted before the Mot.
Definition of a crappy plate is altered lettering using bolts, seriously mispaced letters or numbers or dubious font that ANPR coujd notvread. None of those present here.

The plate would look just as good spaced correctly anyway imo... i don't bother messing around with mine, did you buy it direct from the DVLA auction in June 2010 for £6400 + VAT Etc.?
Yep, I went to the auction at Leicester I think possibly Northampton. .

£20 for some plates to get you through would have been easier than what this thread will turn in to.
I like to poke the GG beast on occasion. :-)

Dare I mention VE15 TAR (current project) looks like I’m the plate pariah, I have named 3 companies after number plates as it’s easier to do that than buy the plate afterwards.
Makes me happy and that’s got to be a win.

I think Mr Soloman has purchased wisley
Other Royal Horticultural Society gardens are available.
No, no. Mr Solomon already owned W15 LEY, so the company is called wisley. Obvious. wink
Ah you know me so well, just lining up another one using an 11 plate will share for you eager beavers once done.

For a definitive answer you could ask them when you drop the car off if it will fail on the spacing of the number plate.............
Popped in today and he said the front was ok but he had to fail the back, they will fit a spaced plate when it goes in.

Dave, decent plate. I’ve seen it when walking down Everton Valley after the game a couple of times.

Lots of anger in this thread. Many would rather see the OP in:
Trust me you wouldn’t, unlike AV185 I am not a chiselled Demi god gracing PH with my mutterings as a national service to the underclasses. Nope, short, fat and bald old RR model driving chav plated wannabe scouser is as good as it gets I’m afraid.
smile
However what amazing value this thread has been, I’m just working on a follow up, maybe “my neighbour parks his van near my house”, or “my pcp is a bit too high what are my options”, but I’ll probably go with the classic “my MX5 overstayed the allowed time in a Lidl car park, I got a fine but ignored it for 2 years and now it’s £50k”

I'll agree with the first reply, and say that the plate shouldn't pass an MoT test - though that seems ages ago, nowsmile
