So iv'e always done minimum 90 max 98 on motorway but seem to speed past most other traffic. Not after a lecture about speeding i take that risk on my head but i feel the slower you go the more steering and throttle input. Not many go at this speed would like to see if i'm in a minority on a motoring forum?

so three people have took the pish out of my first comment about slower is harder. It's true you ever sat behind a dawdler and found yourself concentrating harder? i'm not aryton senna niether am i a dic*head. You come behind someine doing 10 under the limit it feels comically slow like you are sitting on the sofa with a playstation controller. making massive inputs but too slow to make a difference

I aim to do the speed limit and sometimes I manage it. I find it far more relaxing and stress-free to potter and the difference in journey times appears to be negligible.
and on a 400 mile journey you turn up an hour late, get a satnav bro

i just don't believe 90-95 at night is no that fast on the motorway. I have good lane discipline always indicate never undertake or tailgate. I over exaqggerated in my original post and always drive to the conditions traffic flow etc.
