Cars that you keep going back to
Discussion
In my time of driving (20 years) I've had various cars. Generally I own a car, get it out of my system and then move onto something else.
There are of course some cars that I have owned a few of:
2 Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworths
Several other Sierra / Sapphires
2 E39 M5s
2 Rover 800s (1 turbo, 1 diesel)
Lately I have been looking at Cosworths (too expensive and no garage) and E39 M5s again. It seems that I cannot get these cars out of my system. I'll never own either car again (short of a lottery win) and I am more likely to move to a newer M5 once I sell my V10 M5.
Are there any cars that either keep pulling you in or that you cannot get out of your system?

Some interesting cars that people go back to.
Seems a few of us have similar tastes. Whether that is good or bad I do not know!
I was browsing eBay last night and came across my old E39 M5 for sale, which is partly what triggered this thread. I'd consider buying it back if I had the cash, but it has also been through some less than ideal changes since I sold it sadly. The full black leather has been replaced with the cheaper black and grey leather, the wheels are black and the intravee unit seems to be missing. I also doubt that any of the body work has been sorted and I bet the engine still runs a bit off.

Te only repeats I have had are:
2 Vectras - an SRi and a GSi (stop laughing, the latter was a very decent car)
2 R32s - a Mk 4 and a Mk 5. Both very good indeed.
4 S2000s - I think people either find them a bit meh or love 'em. I love 'em, properly under the skin for me
The Vauxhall v6s with an induction kit sounded awesome back in the day. The gsi was a decent looking car, though I preferred the Cavalier GSi 2000. 2 Vectras - an SRi and a GSi (stop laughing, the latter was a very decent car)

I’m on my 29th Manta in 17 years of driving. Still own the first I bought. Also had:
8 Mk1/2 Carltons
8 Senators
4 Bedford CF2s
Not sure why I like GMs products other than my dad having base model cavaliers as repmobiles!
I'd love a 24v Senator, MK3 Cavalier GSi2000 / Turbo, GSi3000 24v Carlton or MK2 Cavalier SRi130 saloon. 8 Mk1/2 Carltons
