Do certain cars suit an age group?

Am I the only one who thinks certain cars suit certain age groups?
M3s under 40
Lamborghini(modern era) under 40
Big Mercs (especially SLs) over 50
Ford Fiesta ST under 30

A classic car is the genuinely the last thing I would buy, it’s more likely I’ll be on the hunt for an M2.

If you need to pay for a big house, an expensive wife and a couple of kids in private, you may have less disposable cash than in your 20s...
