No doubt this has been discussed before, but no doubt so have most topics.

So, I found myself in a ford dealership this week and had a sit in a Ford Edge. I expected it to be a big comfy American cruiser. Well quite the opposite and despite being electric and having lumbar, I couldn’t get comfortable at all.

A friend also told me they had gone to buy a vrs and had to walk away as they just couldn’t get comfortable.

So what car, post 2010 have you found uncomfortable and could gel with?

I'm very fortunate as there aren't many makes of cars that I can think of that I haven't driven, and I cant recall any that had even remotely uncomfortable seats.

Sure, some were different to the car that I drive daily but none were anywhere even approaching unacceptable.

Someone really needs to tell VAG if their seats and driving position are that bad, otherwise whilst they have clearly suckered people in to buying one of their cars without an extended test drive, surely no one in UK, Europe or Rest of World will buy a second, their business will implode over night and the world will be awash with unwanted 6 month old VWs.
The question I asked was which seats are uncomfortable (to you)? I don't for one second think that these car seats are universally uncomfortable, it’s which seats don’t gel with you as an individual.

I was genuinely surprised that I couldn’t get comfortable in an edge. I’m sure to many the seats are fine, it I was uncomfortable to the point I didn’t want to even sit in it.

You are obviously lucky that you get comfortable easily or you just haven’t come across that one car that doesn’t agree with you yet!
