Knocked off his bike and wanting sympathy, not sure this is the way to go about it.

Possibly stop riding like a bellend and stop racing bellends, you will live longer. (incident happens towards the end of the video)

Don't get me wrong the car driver shouldn't have done that, whether deliberate or completely ignorant. By the same token, the biker would wind drivers up. Lane 2 the entire time whether passing people or not, insisting on getting to the front of the queue to then pull away slowly. I don't condone the driver but I can see the biker getting on people's nerves!
Yep. Bikers a tt. Should have known he was up against a throbber in the civic when seeing tyre smoke at the lights. Still continued to do probably double the speed limit through built up areas. That being said, the civic driver knew exactly what he was doing when he changed lanes and caused the crash, deserves locked up.

Well the civic driver could say he didn't see the biker closing on him especially as he was doing over the limit.
I think the civic driver would have a hard time justifying that statement, especially since he span away from the lights full well knowing the bike was behind him and playing catch up.

Not sure why the biker is getting so much hate.

Yes he "put his foot down" when the Civic raced off the lights but was riding ok up to then.

There was absolutely no excuse for the Civic to run him down.
If you watch the video from the start, the biker was riding well above the limit, hogging the right hand lane which appeared to have tram tracks in them. I've ridden long enough to know that metal tracks / drain covers on the road are slippery, especially when wet and I would have avoided them at all costs. So no, his riding wasn't ok up until he crashed

Should be fairly easy to find the Civic driver assuming it's on genuine plates.

Freeze-framing the video at the right point clearly shows the reg to be DE58 YVR.
Interesting you've quite easily got this when the biker who posted it said "...unfortunately, because it was dark, the licence plate of this potential murderer was not quite visible".

I'm not on facebook and I can only see the video. Have people commented on it there? Be interested what people have said...
The car was identified and a screenshot was posted to his wall, 2.2 diesel civic.
He's been getting a roasting on Facebook to be fair.
