What did you buy, where from and why? If you've got a Readers' Car thread or intend to start one, let us know here too for those of us interested in following.
I'll start – picked up a lovely BMW 130i M Sport LCI on the weekend, 3.0-litre straight six, 262hp. I've been keeping an eye on the classifieds here and this one popped up from simonpa who's been a member on PH for 20 years. 55K miles and standard other than the popular 135i back box swap.
I'm expecting my first baby so need something a bit more practical than the TTRS – seems like a good compromise! I may write about it on PH Fleet, otherwise will come back and update with a Readers' Car thread. Quick pic for now

Picked this up a couple of weeks ago. 2014, 5 door Swift Sport with 49k on the clock. Replacing a Panda 100HP and Citroen C2, neither of which were much fun on a longer journey.
Bought privately for a decent sum on the understanding that it needs a service (now done) and front tyres.
It's a hoot to drive and has already served us well on a tiring journey down to (and around) South East London this weekend.
Now I really must get around to listing the Panda on the PH classifieds...
Very nice! That was my alternative choice actually. Definitely would have been the cheaper option to run but the extra toys on the 130i and desire for more cylinders won in the end Should be a great car though, I enjoyed driving the Swift Sport when we had one on the PH Fleet.Bought privately for a decent sum on the understanding that it needs a service (now done) and front tyres.

Interested in this. Am sorely tempted by the M2 Comp as my next motor. However, coming from a C63 AMG with its bombastic engine note I'm a little concerned about the reports of the much muted soundtrack of the S55.
Does the Eisenmann make a hugely noticeable difference? Cost much to fit?
Take a look at this guy, may help to twist your arm for a fraction of the cost of a full system... https://www.exhaustmods.co.uk/Does the Eisenmann make a hugely noticeable difference? Cost much to fit?
