Anyone else keep buying more and more cars?
Discussion
I keep buying them with all my spare cash (savings are put away in a sensible if slightly slow fashion).
There’s so many I want to have and drive at my leisure, and of course fix at my leisure, myself if possible.
I like looking at them...pretty much my morning ritual is to light a cigarette and go and just look at them.
Currently have
BMW 135i coupe
Fk2 civic Type r
2003 merc cl 500
Lexus IS 250
There’s so many more I want to add from sports cars up to jag xj up to Jeep Wrangler. The list of want never ends and i seem to build an affinity with most cars so don’t want to get rid.
Of course it’s expensive what with tax and insurance and batteries draining without a garage but I’d rather live in the London burbs with a nice flat big enough for a couple and a cat and a couple of holidays a year than take on a huge mortgage for a large property I don’t need.
This isn’t a brag, I’m just wondering what others do - I know you’re out there.

Lots of interesting replies.
So, I’m currently looking to add or swap in/out.
How do you all decide what to get next? I’m normally drawn to something at the time but I’m thinking it’s time to let go of the Merc and I’m not really sure what to replace with except that I do want something for sure.

I don’t tend to over think it to much , there’s usually something that’s caught my eye so I just buy that to add to my collection . Then hide it for 12 months from the wife at the unit whilst tidying and making it pristine. It Eventually end up in one of the garages when wife’s not looking
I think it was actually your post about the celica that got me pondering...dammit,How does one go about finding one of these elusive units? Assuming being in London is to my detriment.

For people with lots of older cars, how do you maintain them all? Or do you just not drive them too much / not worry too much?
I seem to buy cars, currently have two, and then start going down the restoring route, rebushing and replacing old parts etc. Perhaps I'm too much of a perfectionist.
I do as much maintenance myself as I can unless I really can’t be bothered or a lift is required. I would like them all to be perfect all the time but then I’d have nothing else to do or save for...except retirement but the current situation has kind of put me off that idea as it’s so bloody boring!I seem to buy cars, currently have two, and then start going down the restoring route, rebushing and replacing old parts etc. Perhaps I'm too much of a perfectionist.
