Just looking for a bit of advice on this. Took my mum's TT for an MOT and it failed on a blown sidelight bulb so just got the garage to replace them.
Then I've just noticed this morning that they've both melted through the headlamp cluster. Looks to me as if they were mounted too close to the plastic. Presumably the garage are liable for cost of two new full headlight clusters?
Also is there anything I should document or do before I return it for them to look at? TIA

Thanks for replies. Bulb should be a 5w as far as I'm aware. Will double check if I can what has been put in. As has been said don't really see how they could be in wrong position?

Why is everyone so scared of holding people to account for shoddy work?

Have you got a pic that’s not so close? Just trying to work out what they could poss have done but can’t really work out what I’m seeing there.

What year TT is it?

It does look bright for a 5w.
I'll try and upload one but had to screenshot it to get it under the upload limit on here. Its melted all the way through, theres a hole in it now. 2006 3.2 mk2

I had a set of the correct bulbs that I was going to swap but didn't get time so thought it's no biggie for the garage to chuck some in 😂

Anyway, garage have said Audi sent the incorrect bulbs (too powerful) and are replacing both units. Expensive mistake for someone
