Hello guys, my first post here, I have a 2015 bmw 640d, with 65k miles on it. I was checking online into these tuning box chips/ ECU modicifcatons, I was wondering what were peoples thoughts on it.

Any Pros and Cons, im from the UK so ive seen they have a few different companies doing it, prices going from 250-400 with increase of hp of 40, and torque by 70. and they say better fuel mpg also

If anyone has any advice, itd be much appreciated, thanks

All cars all engines tuning. I've had remaps before but decided i wanted the option to take it off and swap to another car.
Ive heard TDI are a pretty good company, chipping wont ruin your engine will it in a 640d?

I’ve got one of the TDI tuning boxes on my golf, definitely makes a noticeable difference straight away and I haven’t had any issues with it. As others have said unless you go for a serious remap with rolling road etc this is a very good option. Mine has 7 settings and is app controlled so you can go economy for longer runs or turn up the power for faster driving. Not a massive difference between the settings but it’s nice to have.
thanks guys, just got the tdi one, arrived today, i havent installed it yet, will let you guys know what happens
