Last week had to drop my daughter off at school and pick her up, which meant driving past the Ferrari dealer here in Auckland. Having checked out the cars as I was going past I’ve concluded that the current range is...well...ugly. They might be great to drive but aesthetically they do nothing for me: gopping mouths, strange proportions and sharp lines.

I do think the 355 and the 360 CS were the last nice looking V8 cars (the 458 is quite nice, but again not sure why the light cluster needs to be so elongated)

Friend saw this parked up in the wild yesterday - not seen a pic of it outside of a studio yet

I agree - luckily those are the two Ferraris I have owned

I've just spent the last 25 minutes or so reading through all 5 pages of this thread and not being a Ferrari aficionado, I will say there are many Ferraris that I thought quite beautiful including most of those made in the 1960s, the 308/328 series, the GTO, and even some of the modern day ones though I think the new ones don't have the grace and sensuality of the older models. In any event, even the worst Ferrari is better looking than anything Lamborghini has made since the Miura. Lambo puts so much "gingerbread" on their cars in the way of plastic/vinyl add on pieces that you no longer look at the design language of the body, they're so overloaded with "boy racer" pieces. When I went looking for a supercar about 20 years ago, as in any car that I own, the aesthetics are of paramount importance. After all, I have to look at it everyday, and I couldn't look at an ugly car for the sake of going a little faster on the track. Ultimately, I ended up with the car pictured below. Fifty years after its "birth" it still looks fresh (to me) and contemporary and even when parked next to a current Ferrari doesn't look out of place (see below). But in general, I like Ferrari design aesthetics, and especially like models like the 512bbi.

That looks lovely. Shows to me how tastes change with age. When I was young I preferred the later versions of the Pantera with the big arches and wings but now that looks so much better.

I still love the look of the 365 Boxer (in the same colour scheme ie red and black).
