If this is registered from the 1/4/15, can I put a 15 plate on it?

If DVLA had everything correct then no. The reg should reflect date first used (or sometimes manufactured) for imports.
DVLA do sometimes get this wrong and assign a later plate, but in this case the reg in the photo would indicate this has not happened.

I am not certain what I make of these as a rule, almost every one I have seen is gangster black / black with black wheels and chavtints, but this one has a certain something, looks clean, has a reasonable MOT history, one previous, plenty of paperwork, and LHD always adds something, imo. And the proper engine.

"Sensible offers welcome." Could bring it in, or close to budget.

The setting is a bit industrial, but there is some gravel about, if one looks carefully.smile

Avantgarde Auto in Clevedon - next to Alfaholics. I think they are the only independent specialists for the SLR in the UK.
Correct. Steve (the owner) worked on the SLR project at McLaren and so offers independent servicing on them
He also services my E class!

After close examination of the picture it was decided that it was too racy.

I've posted it twice as a joke for CDG and it's been removed no idea why she's just in a bikini leaning on a SC430, If I post it again I'll probably be banned
Best not to post it again then!

Is this the new game, who can post the sauciest Friday pic without getting banned?

#StayClassy
I would take #Stayclassy as a polite warning. Ban hammers are being polished.

yes but I don’t recall the headlights looking like that when those cars were new.
Am I misremembering or has Gerald turned his attention to them?

Not my cup of tea. Car otherwise looks really nice. cool

Shame they only upgraded the rear lenses to clear. Either do all or none IMO.
Not my cup of tea either. Gerald would like them.

There was a 560SEL at LeMans a few years back like that Jag. I think it's ace! There's also a video on YouTube of a similar Century.
Here is one I made earlier (about 30 years ago)

love the panelling. Did you buy it or make it? I'm planning on doing something similar on my campervan.
The panelling was on it from factory. It was a Super Estate.

(picture not of my car!)

The panelling was actually just some wood effect stick on plastic on a roll with a raised shaped border. The one I had needed a lot of repair work to both the inner wood and the border; that was minor compared to an engine and gearbox swap plus roof removal and boot lid creation.
