Tyre came off, anything I can do?

Looking for a bit of informal legal advice/similar experiences, my finace was driving back from manchester having had the front tyres changed less than 2 hours previously. The front driver side tyre fell off as she was going along the M6.

Is there anything that I can do legally speaking?
