Umm, try a different conversion ratio! I.E: 2.2 lb per kilo

35 kilos for 1 wheel = 77lbs
77lbs x 4 wheels = 308lbs
308lbs is equivalent to 22 stone!
Jeese, it's a wonder any car moves with that kind of weight to drag around!
Are we sure that one alloy and tyre weighs as much 35 kilos?

We're talking all 4 here. The ones in the post above at 8.5Kg a corner are very light.
As F1emke says, weights vary depending construction, so stick the actual ones you want on a set of scales, complete with their tyres.
No can do I'm afraid, wheels are in sheffield and I'm in Kent
Seller, does not know how to use e-mail or even a telephone and sends very basic text only.
I'm wondering whether to not bother and pull out. Suppose I'll get negative feedback if I do but I'm having trouble with sending payment to somebody who won't respond to e-mails other than one text message and who won't provide his full address but still wants me to pay up asap - so he said in his text!
Thanks folks.
TBH the seller seems a bit of a tt, won't reply to e-mails, wants £50 carriage even though I'm collecting them but still asks me to pay up without amending the e-bay total
No reply on his phone number and he doesn't appear to want to respond by e-mail or through e-bay mail.
I also noticed that he bought them off another e-bayer for more than my winning bid now, so he looks like he is trying to make the loss up with the carriage charge. He did say in his text "collect anytime" but gives his address as "shefield"!
It's a big place and an address would be most helpful

Aarrrgh - thanks for all the responses but sadly it didn't work out and the e-bayer was an idiot!
Wanted to charge me £50 postal charge when I was collecting them and said he wanted an exact time for collection and immediate payment and wouldn't know when he'd be in for the collection because he was at college - I said I couldn't give an "exact" time for a courier (nobody can). He started to ignore me so I gave him negative feedback - fair enough I thought!
He gave me negative feedback, called me a cheap skate and a non-payer.
Oh well - another one of lifes little to55ers!
