Sorry if this is a repost, but I came accross this rather odd ebay listing on another forum that I use:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/38-cars-bikes-quads-truck-bu...

Someone 'apparently' selling 38 vehicles in a job lot, including cars, motorbikes, a truck and I think even a speedboat was mentioned. It's all very strange and I assume it's some sort of scam, and his reason for selling them is rather odd as well: 'please note these are not all my vehicles, i have gathered together many friends to sell all these vehicles ,bikes ,quads, trike, truck, transporter tilt trailer, speed boat, cars as we are all going to club together to buy a plot of land with the proceeds of the sale.'
It also mentions that he wants £300 in advance from the winning bidder, so I'm assuming that's where the scam is.

Went through the listing a bit more thoroughly, see what you mean, they are all heaps from the sound of it. I suppose if it was a scam he wouldn't list them all as bangers like he has done

Someone suggested the pikey theory in the other forum I was on, it does make sense. Why else would a group of people club together to buy a plot of land... unless its a cult setting up a compound or something biggrin

Viewing on your own in a decent motor; probably not recommended...
I'm not that mad! I was just curious to see what his response would be, I have no intention of heading over there

y2blade, was there any need for posting the entire listing on here? People can just see it through the link...
