Volvo V70 D5 SE

Mrs Stumpage seems to have settled on one of these for the family wagon. I quiet like them but are they any good? Not looking for alternative suggestions (It's taken long enough to decide on this) just your experience of them.

We have the MX5 for fun so we are just looking for a big comfy cruiser that won't cost the earth to run.

Why oh why do people Always suggest mapping cars? Its a small % of owners which do this, also as these cars are 2nd hand there is little purchase price difference between the 2 models especially when you take into consideration the chip cost, the much higher ins cost and the fact more wear/stress on parts so things will wear out quicker.

The only map this will see is dog eared with AA on the cover.
