As there's a thread about the opposite of this going on at the moment I thought this one might spark some discussion....

My nominations are:-

Peugeot 307 - less reliable than a French builder, dull to drive, boring to look at pseudo MPV rubbish. Worse in most areas than the 306 it replaced yet it still sold well. The CC model gets a special mention for also being catastrophically ugly as well as being generally terrible.

Audi Q7 - it's probably well built, pretty decent to drive and reliable but who really needs something that massive. I was parked next to one on a ferry in my old mk3 Mondeo and it felt like I was driving the Lotus as this thing towered over me. At my little sisters boarding school one of the parents has one and it dwarfs even the MLs and Cayennes in the car park!

Chevrolet Matiz - just about passable as a garage courtesy car but why anyone would buy one with real money is beyond me. It's made out of plastics McDonalds wouldn't put on top of their coffee cups and has an engine which a food blender would be embarrassed of. It's so narrow you rub shoulders with your front seat passengers and it looks like some kind of kids toy.

BMW 116i M Sport - how small must your penis be to buy this car rofl

So, over to you guys, anyone saying MX5 or 335d gets violated with an electric cattle prod hehe

Ford Ka.
Great car.

I nominate the Vauxhall Vectra.
New Ka is pointless - a less good looking Fiat 500 built with cheaper materials (inside at least) for more money. The old one is a great car but badly built and goes rusty but doesn't deserve to be in this category.

I nearly put the Vectra - always average at best, there have always been better options, whatever your priorities are.

BMW Mini! Chrysler Neon engined, Astra sized, over hyped, over priced, crap boxes. BMW have never made front wheel drive with good reason.
Sorry?! Have you ever driven, or even seen, one?

It's not Astra sized (I used to have a Mini and now have an Astra, the Mini was a lot smaller!), is very well made, fantastic to drive and no more over priced than the new Fiesta. Put your prejudices to one side for a moment and actually look at one, as long as you don't need to use the back seats regularly it's a fantastic little car and one more suited to the PH ideology than almost any other.
