Chaps,

A quickie.

I am looking for someone to do a four-wheel alignment on my 944. Somewhere in East London / Essex (or within reasonable travelling distance of here.)

Anone have any suggestions? I have used Wheels-in-Motion before, but they have changed their pricing model and I was perhaps not that impressed with them last time 'round ...

Thanks.

Oli.

Dixon motorsports did a very good job on my car- they are based in South East London/ Kent.

They are sometimes called DMS. Cost me circa 140 pound around 2 years ago.

I used Sinclaire Lotus in Romford, excelent service.
Looks like they have changed the name to Essex Autosport now, but I guess its the same people.

That's odd as I recently took my 928 GTS there. Why were you not impressed?

I drove from East London (Hackney) to their Chesham Branch as the Porsche guy said that he would prefer him to do it rather than one of their other facilities. I also had 2 new front tyres fitted. (the alignment was well out as both fronts had equal inside wear)

Anyhow they had a capped alignment price of approx £138. They actually spent almost 3 hours on the job and the car handles like a dream again. cloud9

I would thoroughly recommend them thumbup (I've also had 4 wheel alignment done at Elite in Dagenham that was approx £300 or more I'd have to dig out the receipt)

The above have full laser alignment facilities - based in Chelmsford.

Highly recommended.

Wheeltraders done mine a few days ago, bunch of good guys I've been going to for my tyres for years. Used to be in Rainham now they've moved to opposite Jump Giants in Lakeside.

New machine I think, I didn't have to pay for the check - they've got an offer on atm for free checks throughout the month of June smile
