Does anyone know how much it would cost for transporting a car from Liverpool to Glasgow?

I need to know what the going rate is before I get on the phone to these companies.

Most sites ask for email addresses for quotes and my spam email address can only take so much.

If anyone wants to shamelessly plug a service feel free to email me here, or post details, but it really is a case of cheapest quote wins, its really that simple, i'm immune to sales talk.

[puts down the imaginary phone]

I can not honestly believe this is the breakdowns first option, towing, its far cheaper for them to fix on the roadside than tow at a higher expense. Its a business. They are trained mech, they know what they doing and what to look for. Towing is always a last resort.

Hang on thats the AA on the imaginary phonelaugh

Does anyone know a towing company that does 0.75p a mile?

I'd be very wary of anybody who offers to move for less than £1 per mile as that is the lowest rate I could find to move my Range Rover 195 miles. Most companies wanted a bit more then £1 per mile so I was happy to pay that amount. Less could mean it's I priced up hiring a trailer and using a mates new Nissan Pathfinder but when adding cost of fuel and "pit stops" / lunch the £1 per mile wasn't much more. Also remember if DIY method then not normally.

good advice and I like the 'A framed or spectacle lifted so isn't fully off the road and running on it's own wheels.' a great question to ask I would never thought of. Thanks
