How do I stop condensation inside the car
Discussion
might sound daft(and not suggesting u do) but i hear not leaving any bottles of liquid or open cans with juice (or beer for the psychos) help.

Find the source of water ingress and treat the problem instead of the symptoms. The "bucket of silica gel in the footwell" is a solution, but it's not a cure.
Favourite spots for water ingress are front and rear window seals, tail lights, and sunroofs. Usual culprits are knackered seals (arf arf arf) or blocked drains. Poke around for places where water is accumulating, boot well, down the sides of the boot where there's often a gap down the wing, footwells etc.
Using a can of compressed air / air-duster etc down sunroof drain tubes is normally enough to blow them clear without knocking the pipe off.
So many cars have a habit of gathering water and holding onto it in nooks and crannies. Always worth a check to make sure. I damn near had a pond in my E38 boot because of dodgy light seals

Air Dry ensures that the interior of the vehicle (boat) is kept dry, with no rust, electrical damage, mildew, mould stains or mouldy smells. Will also prevent windows from steaming up. Lasts approx 3 months before needing regeneration on a radiator. Suitable for other applications such as saddle rooms, gun safes, storage spaces etc. £11.50
I have one and it works a dream.

The source in my case is me, wet clothes from the weather dragging snow and water into the car. Short of walking there isn't an option. Guess I could try to cling film myself before getting into the car then run from the office door to the car avoiding the snow flakes but it all sounds a bit of a faff, I'll just use the air con.I was just about to post about a similar item to that posted above- got mine from eBay and it hangs from the rear-view mirror in my MX5, unfortunately I don't think my 20 year-old MX left outside is ever going to be completely element tight!
Put it in a couple of days ago as on Sunday I had icicles inside the car and to refresh it you just bung it in the oven on a low heat for a while. Seems to be working a treat thus far considering the weather is worse than it was over the weekend.

Halfords sell a gizmo intended for laid up Caravans, Motorhomes, Boats etc. Sachet of crystals and a vented box that attracts and retains moisture.
Costs £2.99 and will last the winter. Refills are £1.99.
Highly recommended.
Used these before - if you have trouble finding them in Halfords, try Homebase as they more often have them there. Work really well and used them to keep the moisture down in an old leaky Golf. Costs £2.99 and will last the winter. Refills are £1.99.
Highly recommended.
Get the int good and warm then open the windows for the last 5 mins of travell, that'll let most of the moisture out as the hot moist air exits the windows (sunroof is a better way if you have one).
I have owned a few minibuses in the past and cos of the large window area condensaton is a problem especialy as only the 2 rear windows had a demister, the above helped no end
