Somehow I dont think this guy has a clue. Its a Metro and wont rot. Later he says the rust has been done,

My Dad actually had one from 1990- 1993, and I remember it was quite fun.
However during that time I owned an F reg Suzuki Swift Gti, and then a J reg Diahatsu Charade GTti and it was not even in the same league performance wise.
Shame there are not many of these old school warm hatches left, Citroen AX Gti, Nova GTE and Polo G40 are others my mates owned at the time. The Polo was fastest out the lot, then the GTti.
