whats the least fuel efficient, up to 8 years old normal type of car so no Hummer H1's or 6 wheeled Russian things.

I'm thinking stuff like M6's, 750iL's, C65 AMG's, Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Bentley GT etc?

i'm interested in how this has affected depreciation if any of you are wondering why i'm asking this!

cheers

Probably.

EDIT- It does between 9 and 12 mpg (American) apparently. So its not THAT bad.

that probably wins but i'm not allowing it as it comes under the 'obscure' heading. smile

don't think 10mpg is too bad for that though

Are we talking manufacturer figures here or real world examples?
dunno what do you reckon?

real world if you know it, if not manufacturer.

generally i'd say you are down 20% in real world figures on a manufacturers combined figure.

reason i ask is that m6's cayenne turbos etc seem DIRT cheap but I still don't want one until they are practically a giveaway

OK, I'll start with some every day cars.

Daihatsu Copen 45mpg
BMW Z4M Coupe 30mpg
not bad for a Z4M. To beat that though I know a normal Cayenne V8 averaged about 22mpg when my mate had his.

some good examples there guys - took some doing i bet to get 8mpg in the scoob. however that's a one off!

shall we allow the dodge srt ram as not 'obscure'?

if so that's winning so far with 13mpg if not the range rover is winning at 17mpg.

the veyron i think we'd have to class as obscure in that it's just too rare.

cayenne turbo's can now be had for £16k - do you think they will get to £12-£13k by April? I think so!
