I need a dog car

I now have to put my two dogs (large spaniel sized) into the car to take them for a walk and they are trashing my nice cream interior with their muddy paws as well as being a complete pain to get into the back seats of the Jag. So I need a dog car (and general hack). Budget £3,000 and have been thinking of an aged Land Rover Freelander or some variety of old estate. Any thoughts or suggestions welcome!

I also want something that I could carry four adults in at the same time and something that is generally practical as a transporter. My current car is hopeless for anything other than moving two people quickly. Other thought was a bmw estate
