GF just been quoted a £200 hike on insurance because of having moved to a slightly diff postcode. Aside from moving again, can anything be done whatsoever? I think I know the answer but as I am not an insurance expert I thought I would throw it out there. Maybe someone knows a good company to try or something? thanks

ok we don't live together smile

she doesn't have a garage but has a driveway but it gets shared with her housemates, so her car isn't always parked on it, so the correct location to say is street in that case I would say. Alarm would prob cost more than £200. She is a teacher so not much you can do with that job title!

So she'll have bloody twelve weeks holiday a year then.

She can get a job at Starbucks for one of them and cover it.
I might not give her that particular bit of advice but thanks anyway smile
