993 Windscreen Seal

Hi. Is it relatively easy to remove the 993 outer Windscreen seal to deal with a bit or rust & then put it back please? Cheers Mark

The rust is minimal and I didn't know if it could be treated without removing the screen before it gets worse. The screen doesn't squeak ....Does the rust come from the inside out?
