Client of mine with a 991 Turbo S was forced into a verge by an oncoming vehicle a few weeks ago and as a result the 2 near side wheels got a bit of damage on the outer edges (not majorly damaged but enough to annoy you). Car went to the Porsche approved bodyshop to have them refurbished but apparently these types can't be refurbed? (Diamond cut/lacquered faces with black inner spokes)

Just under £4.5k for 2 new replacement wheels!!

You just cant keep doing it.
That was my first reaction, I've seen similar finishes refurbed before but the company who the bodyshop uses say they can't be done. They're a reputable company so I've no real reason to doubt them but found it surprising at the same time.

Still, I knew these alloys would be pricey but I was still a bit shocked!
