I imagine that almost all Carrera S' are left as Porsche intended. However, i specifically opted for a 4S because i have my old Turbo's BBS CH-Rs in the garage (the 4S being the same width as the Turbo). For them to look 'right', i think the car needs to be lowered too.

I've done a bit of searching and the idea of lowering a 911 seems to border on sacrilege! However - cards on the table - i am more bothered about the aesthetics and ride comfort than the nth degree of performance.

Bilstein seems to be popular, but there seems to be a lack of real-world experience. I know KW V3s seem to be a choice for many BMW owners when it comes to track day cars, but i do not want to the ruin the ride - i just want to remove the 'arch gap' with a good quality kit.

If anyone has any recommendations i'd really appreciate it!

Yes, having had a Turbo, you have to be careful on bigger slopes for sure! You'd have to therefore avoid certain petrol stations, etc.

To be specific it is a 997.2 4S. I am hesitant to just use lowering springs as it would mean the dampers are not being used as designed.
