Evening all, I'm looking at a local well priced 2006 997 Carrera 4S tiptronic cab. the car is black/black 38k miles with FPSH, good spec with 19" Carrera Classic, BOSE etc.

What are the service intervals, what should I be looking at in the service schedule/invoices?

I am going to see the car on Saturday, and would appreciate a few pointers to look out for.

Thanks for any advice!

Independent inspection required, including thoroughly checking the bores.

Most things on these require an expert viewing. Well worth a few hundred to avoid buying a bad one!
Thanks, any recommendations for South East London or North Kent?

would definitely recommend Peter Morgan:
porscheinspections.com/porsche_inspections.php

He is well know within Porsche circles and will also let you know whether the car is priced competitively.

Alternatively you could take it to an Official Porsche Centre to get it checked out.

Thanks George, didn't know OPC's offered pre-delivery inspections.
