997 Gen 1 C4S or C2S
Discussion
Apologies in advance for this really quite dull question, but I'm in a quandry. Had a gorgeous Gen 2 C2S a Year back...it was more than enough car for me, scared the cr*p out of me in sport plus mode, so I've no desire to get into turbo or GTS territory. I sold it as it was depreciating like mad. But I miss it like crazy - and basically want the same car without the depreciation woes.
So, looking at early gen 1 prices, the bottom end seems to be holding steady at about £20k for a C2S highest miler, and C4S starting about £6k more.
Do you peeps think prices are steady?
And If so which will hold its value better? 997 C2S or C4S. ?
I've never driven the 4S but here they're popular as feel safer. I also noted that 996 C4S are actually gaining in value (weirdly 996 C4S are more than many 997 C2S!) but I don't really understand why a turbo body shell would make everyone suddenly go weak at the knees??? And if it does, I'm assuming the effect is not the same for the 997 C4S which has a much more regular body shell...
